Bush Global Warming Speech Drawing Sharp, Partisan Reactions

In an April 16th Rose Garden speech, President Bush said the United States must stop the growth of global warming pollution by 2025, and then begin to reduce emissions.  This is the first time in seven years that the President has actually set a goal for some type of global warming pollution reduction.  However, most reactions are that the President’s proposals are too little, too late-and that real action will occur when the next president is inaugurated in nine months.
