Cities to Gain Millions of Green Jobs by 2038
A new report by the U.S. Conference of Mayors forecasts that the United States will add 4.2 million green jobs in the next 30 years. That’s on top of the 751,000 the report says already exist. Midwest cities are among the green job winners: Chicago (127,545-up from 16,120 today); Des Moines (11,784-up from 1,489 today); and Madison (23,861-up from 3,016 today).
