Greenbuild kicks off with Clinton Foundation projects in Chicago
The first day of the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in Chicago began with news that the Clinton Foundation will help fund three projects to retrofit buildings and make them more energy-efficient. The 
buildings will include the Merchandise Mart, the Sears Tower and privately owned, multi-tenant housing. Former President Bill Clinton noted that three-quarters of carbon emissions come from urban areas, with much of that coming from buildings. Video coverage of the announcement from WMAQ-TV is here.
