Transportation Options in a Greenhouse: Alternative Strategies to Lowering Our Carbon Footprint

Stephen H. Schneider is the Melvin and Joan Lane Professor for Interdisciplinary Environmental Studies, Professor of Biological Sciences, and Senior Fellow in the Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford University.
Schneider will highlight incentives to bring about a transition to cleaner transport, along with promising technology and policy options being pursued by other states and countries. He will also compare the transport sector with the industry and building sectors to predict how much can feasibly be done.
